Sebastião Santos is a researcher in the field of sports psychology and coaching, with special interest in understanding and improving performance, with the implementation of emotional control programs. He holds a degree in physical education, a master’s degree in sports psychology, and a doctorate in sports science (emotional control) from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD).

He’s a teacher of basic education, by the Ministry of Education. He’s a teacher trainer and trainer of the Portuguese Swimming Federation. As he has a wide experience as a Swimming Coach and several participations in the Master Championships in Europe and the World. He’s also the technical-pedagogical Coordinator of a swimming club (CAFZ).
