Liliana Mendes is an Assistant Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) and Researcher at Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research – (CIBIT), Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, in the line of research Neuroimaging and Clinical Neuroscience.

She recently completed a Postdoctoral Researcher at Institute for Nuclear Sciences Applied to Health – ICNAS. She has a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She has a PhD course in Sports Sciences with a specialization in Sport, Excellence, Well-being and Human Development, from the Faculty of Sport, University of Porto.

She is Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology, Specialist in Neuropsychology and Specialist in Work, Social and Organizational Psychology [granted by the Installing Committee of the College of Specialties of the Portuguese Psychologists Order].

Liliana Mendes´s main teaching and research interests lie primarily in the area of adult clinical neuropsychology, related to neuropsychological rehabilitation and virtual reality intervention.
