Juliana is undergraduated in Physical Education at the São Paulo State University (Brazil, 2007). She completed her PhD (2015) in Physical Education: Biodynamics of Movement and Sport, focused in biomechanics, at the Campinas State University (Brazil) and University of Massachusetts – Amherst (EUA).

Currently, she is integrated member at the Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD), associated to the CreativeLab Research Community, at University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Portugal). Her research interest and main experience is in instrumentation and methods of analysis for sports performance and health sciences.
