Pedro Bezerra is Assistant Professor at School of Sport and Leisure (ESDL) of Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC). He is graduated at Southern Cross University [Australia] in Sport Science since 2009.

The main area of interest is Physcial Activity and Health on aged population and Sport Training for High Performance. In the last years he has produced scientific work on football development, physical on aged population. Also, he has actively participated in innumerous events including congress, seminars and local epidemiological meetings. Both, PhD and master students have been supervised under age-related health and football development topics.

Presently he is investigator principal of two projects – InCommon Sport, funding by EU; Olympic4All, supported by CIM AltoMinho. Furthermore, He is managing the supporting team the SNID Platform (Sistema Nacional de Informação Desportiva).
