Jorge Costa is an invited assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). Furthermore, he has worked as a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist involving patients with moderate and severe mental health disorders, as well as, age-related neurodegenerative disease (eg. Dementia) in clinical institutions. His main interest areas of research is Sport Psychology and applied neuropsychology, specifically Neuropsychological Assessment, Forensic Psychology, normal and pathological aging, and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation in the elderly. Jorge Costa is author and co-author of some publications like book chapters, papers in peer-reviewed journals, and conference proceedings focused on cognitive psychology and neuropsychology. He collaborated as member team in several funded projects at the Laboratory of Experimental Psychology at Aveiro University, as well as, actually also has collaborated in several research project in area of psychology of Sport and exercise in the Sport Science Department at UBI.
