Francini  Andrade is a physiotherapist and Ph.D. through the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil specialising in Pneumological Sciences. In addition, she has a postgraduate specialized degree in intensive physiotherapy. Her research interests include the cardiorespiratory and pulmonary health of kidney patients. Therefore, she has been studying the effects of intradialytic exercise on cardiorespiratory fitness and pulmonary function in these populations. Currently, she is a Lecturer at the University of Maia.
