With a degree in Nutrition Sciences from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto and a Master in Sports Training from IPVC–ESDL, César Edgar de Sousa Leão is currently attending the PhD in Education, Sport and Health at the University of Vigo.
In professional terms, besides the nutritional monitoring of several athletes at an individual level, he is responsible for the nutritional department of FCPaços de Ferreira, and also provides support to the Portuguese VolleyballFederation. Besides that, he is an associate professor at IPVC-ESDL and IPMAIA.
His research interest in research embraces sports nutrition, anthropometry and the effect of nutritional strategies in performance.
