Andrew is employed as an Education Officer at Sydney Catholic Schools in Australia. He has an in-depth knowledge of Health and Physical Education curriculum and assessment, but also has an extensive background in exercise science and high-performance swimming.

In 2020 he completed PhD in Education which examined the effect of plyometric-based program on motor performance skills and aspects of muscular power in seven- to eight-year-old PE students.

Current research concentration is in Evidence-based education pedagogy; Educational assessment and reporting and Paediatric exercise science applied in Physical Education setting .
