Tiago Oliveira holds a Master in Sport Sciences with expertise in Handball and is a PhD student at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. He is an invited professor lecturing Handball and Sports Pedagogy in the under-graduation Sport Sciences course.

Tiago is also an experienced handball coach and holds the European Handball Federation Master Coach PRO license, which allows to work and compete in international competitions. He has been invited for lecturing in several handball coaching courses and clinics under different subjects.

His main research interest is performance analysis in handball with some papers published regarding this subject.
