Teresa Bento is graduated in Physical Edication and Sports, by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, in 1998, master´s degree in Exercise and Health by the Faculty of Human Kinetics – University of Lisbon, in 2004, and PhD in Sports Sciences by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, in 2011.

She is teacher and member of the Scineitic Subarea of Physical Activity and Health of the Sports Sciences School of Rio Maior (ESDRM), Polytechnic School of Santarém, since 2002.
