Tatiana Fazenda was born in Covilhã in 1981. She graduated in Communication Sciences: publicity and public relations in 2006 at the University of Beira Interior. In 2007, she joined the Masters of Strategic Communication: Advertising and Public Relations, completing her degree in 2008 with the presentation of the dissertation “The Instrumental Institute of Fairs in the Public Relations Strategy”. In the same year adjacent to the master degree start, she began her professional activity with a 12 months internship, at the Office of Public Relations at the University of Beira Interior, as Senior Technician of Communications.

Simultaneously, in 2014, she enrolled the PhD in Sports Sciences at the University of Beira Interior, aspiring a research work involving these two much correlated areas: Communication and Sport.

At the present time, she is at the final phase of this research, where this correlation between the athlete and the media have the main focus for present and future research.
