Sara Santos is an assistant professor at University of Maia (UMaia). Sara did her MSc in Sport and Physical Education in 2012 and the PhD in 2018 in Sport Sciences at UTAD. She also has a Specialization in Physical Activity and Health at Faculty of Sport in Porto University (FADEUP, Portugal) and is currently a researcher at the Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD). Her research interests are to explore the influence of enrichment environments to nurture the creative behavior in youths.

Sara is the author of several scientific papers published in national and international journals and was the 2018 recipient of the Ruth B. Noller Research Grant supported by the Creative Education Foundation, USA. Since 2018, she has been provided consultant services to the English Football Association in the Advanced Youth Award Course at St George’s Park.

Recently, she is the coordinator of the Skills4genius program, an educative project, which secured funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foudantion within the Gulbenkian Academies of Knowledge 2018.
