Raul Filipe Barbosa Bartolomeu

Raul Bartolomeu is an integrated member of the STRONG community at the Research Centre in Sport Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD, Portugal). He holds a first degree in Sports from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Bragança, Portugal), a MSc in Exercise and Health from the same institution and a PhD in Sport Sciences from University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Vila Real, Portugal). He’s currently collaborating with the Polytecnhic of Guarda and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.
He has conducted research in the field of exercise and health for the elderly derived from his collaboration in a program of physical activity for the senior population. Currently the main focus of his research is related to swimming teaching strategies, swimming performance, based on its influencing factors and nonlinear behavior analysis.
