Nuno Mateus is a PhD student at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. His academic background includes a 1st Cycle Degree and a Master’s Degree in Sports Sciences from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, as well as scientific publications related to performance and sports training. His academic performance, has earned him an honourable distinction from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro in 2014.

Since 2015, he has been a coach integrated in the Talentódromo Desportivo Vila Real, promoted by CIDESD. Additionally, he accumulate an extensive professional experience in youth federated sport training, being properly credited as a Level II Basketball Coach and a Level I Rugby Coach.

Currently, his research interest is focused in the sports performance analysis and health sciences.
