Graduated in Sport and Physical Activity and master degree in Physical Activity from the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. He is currently studying for a PhD in Sports Science at the University of Beira Interior and his research focuses mainly on the study of competition warm-up, post warm-up and re-warm-up for team sports performance, participating in scientific congresses with oral communications. He has developed his career as a fitness trainer and as a basketball coach of youth and seniors. In addition, he collaborated with the Portuguese Basketball Federation as a Regional Technical Director of Guarda and was responsible for coordinating courses of the Portuguese level 1 basketball coaches for the Basketball National School.
