Liliana Aguiar, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences and the European University. She collaborated as an Assistant Professor and member of the Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Human Performance, in the Laboratory of Biomechanics and Functional Morphology, at the Faculty of Human Kinetics. She has a PhD since 2014, specializing in Biomechanics from the Faculty of Human Kinetics of the University of Lisbon. She graduated in Sports Science at Sports Superior School of Rio Maior, Polytechnic of Santarém. And previously, she completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra. Her research focuses on exploring the construction of biomechanical models, three-dimensional image analysis and simulation. Her scientific production is based on the exploration of biomechanical models that allow the study of gait in overload conditions, being published in scientific journals and a chapter in a book.
