Jorge E. Morais (PhD) is a Professor at the Department of the Sport Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Bragança, Portugal). Is Member of the Research Centre in Sports, Health and Human Development (Vila Real, Portugal) and collaborator with the Portuguese Swimming Federation (in the specific fields: training evaluation and race analysis).

The research interests focus the biomechanical and physiological determinant factors of sports performance (specially in swimming), and the physical activity in the water environment.
