Diogo S. Teixeira is a young professor and researcher with a multidisciplinary background and professional practice in several areas of his academic training. Currently, he is an Auxiliar Professor at Physical Education and Sport Faculty, in Universidade Lusófona, Lisbon.

He has a degree in Physical Education and Sport; a postgraduation degree in Health, Nutrition, and Exercise; a master’s degree in Exercise and Wellness; and a PhD degree in Physical Activity and Health.

His research focuses on motivational and emotional determinants and their relationship with the quality of practice in several health and sport related contexts.
