Daniela Cardoso did her BSc at the University Institute of Maia – ISMAI (2015) and MSc at the Faculty of Sports in Porto University – FADEUP (2017).

Currently, she is a PhD student within the Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD) at ISMAI and holds a fully-funded PhD studentship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, FCT.

Her current research focuses on understanding the impact of physical exercise on bone health in Chronic Kidney Disease.
