Pedro Morouço is Associate Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, currently, is the Dean of the School of Education and Social Sciences. With a PhD specialized in Biomechanics his research activity focuses, mostly, on products and processes engineering, aiming to bringing the gap between the lab and in vivo applications. In the last years, he has been invited to collaborate in several national and international projects. He has co-edited 3 books, authored, and co-authored more than 100 papers published in book-chapters (n=22), international journals (n=66) and international conferences (n>100). He is Editorial Board Member in several international peer-review journals and was distinguished International Awards, winner of the AJE method publishing competition, and 2 awards in the National Science Communications Contests.
