Gonçalo Reis holds a BSc in Physical Education and Sports (2020) and an MSc in High-Performance Training (2022), both from the University of Maia. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the same institution, focusing on the effects of loading dose on player adaptations, with a particular emphasis on individual responses to stimuli and the role of game exposure within a multidimensional framework. His research interests include load management, the differences between starters and non-starters, monitoring and recovery strategies, and the key factors that contribute to enhanced athletic performance. Additionally, Gonçalo works as a soccer Sports Scientist and Sports Physiologist.
