Diogo Coutinho is a PhD Granted Student at Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development, hosted at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD, Vila Real, Portugal). He has been teaching disciplines related with the use of different performance analysis softwares (Longomatch, Klipdraw and Gamebreaker).

His research interest is focused in performance analysis in team sports, mainly in understanding how different task constraints shape players’ movement behavior during game-based situations.

He has been a football coach at youth level since 2011. Also, he is frequently invited as a lecture in several football coaching courses (UEFA B and C) from the Portuguese Football Federation, as well as in other courses developed by other institutions.
