Daniel Paiva has a Sports Sciences and Physical Education degree and a Master’s in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary from the University of Coimbra—PhD student in Sport Sciences from the University of Beira Interior and an FCT scholarship holder. Daniel has six seasons of experience as a swimming and water aerobics coach, going through all levels of education and coaching the young and age group teams of Clube Náutico de Miranda do Corvo. Thus, it contributed to the training of several athletes, highlighting a qualification for the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games and participation in several European Championships and World Cups. Currently, he´s the head coach and technical team coordinator. Daniel Paiva also has experience as an alifeguardd, which he developed during four bathing seasons. He practice several sports, currently being a three-time national champion of Kickboxing Kicklight, and he’s selected for the World Kickboxing Championships 2024 and the World Dodgeball Championships 2024.
