Alexandra Malheiro completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports from the Institute of Science and Education of Douro in 2020 and is currently a Ph.D. student in Sports Sciences at the University of Beira Interior under the supervision of Professor Mário Marques and Pedro Forte. Her research interests include CrossFit performance, biomechanics, physiology, injury prevention, and the use of technology in sports training. Currently is an Assistant teacher in ISCE Douro.  Alexandra holds a research fellowship at the Centre for Research in Sports, Health, and Human Development (CIDESD).
