Abstract Submission
- Individual authors may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts as first author.
- The first author must pay the registration fee to confirm the abstract for the final scientific programme.
- In case the first author is unable to attend, a registered co-author is permitted to present the research on their behalf.
- It is possible to appear as a co-author on other abstracts. However, each author can only present a maximum of 2 abstracts (oral or poster).
- Abstracts must be submitted under one of following categories:
ELITE: The ELITE category encompasses research aimed at enhancing sports performance. This includes studies in exercise physiology, biomechanics, performance analysis, and psychological approaches focused on optimizing training, recovery, and competitive outcomes. Abstracts in this area may also explore innovations in wearable technology, precision analysis in elite sports, and individualized performance optimization strategies. Research addressing the impact of high-performance sports sciences on athlete development, team dynamics, and technical strategies in both individual and team sports is encouraged within this category.
HEART: The HEART category invites abstracts focused on the role of physical activity and exercise in promoting health and managing chronic conditions, including aging and disease prevention. This category includes clinical exercise science, community-based health interventions, and research into the physical and psychological benefits of activity across various populations. Submissions may highlight exercise prescriptions for specific health outcomes (e.g., cardiovascular health, oncology, renal, and metabolic diseases). Contributions examining the integration of physical activity into public health frameworks, community programs, and tailored interventions for different demographics are particularly relevant here.
Multidisciplinary: This category covers diverse fields intersecting with sports and exercise science, such as physical education, pedagogy, and sports management. Research exploring educational methodologies, policy impacts, organizational strategies, and innovations in sports-related pedagogy is encouraged.
- Authors should indicate their preferred type of presentation – Oral or Poster. This, however, cannot be guaranteed and will be communicated on acceptance.
- There will be three types of presentation in the conference: (i) Oral Presentation, (ii) Conventional Print Poster Presentation (with flash presentation of 2 min), and (iii) E-poster (without presentation).
